The Founders Alliance is not content to be yet another source of opinions and warnings. We are determined to help others make a difference. Having begun as a small, East Texas Tea Party group, TFA is committed to maintaining the localism and individualism which has made this grassroots movement such a success. We firmly believe that the thousands of small groups will function better and more honorably without centralized leadership; and while we seek to offer our help to those who believe our tools and training may be of use, we desire in no way to establish ourselves as leaders or organizers of other groups.
Our activism is currently focused on persistent voter engagement, not relegated to the election cycles; engagement that will be harnessed to change the face of the 2012 elections particularly in State level races. Only candidates who agree to the Contract with Citizens will be considered for support.
2010 was just a warm up. The battle continues… See our video and check out our links for further information:

Does the group have a foundational statement? In other words what the group believes.

From our "About" link:
The Founders Alliance is a non-profit and non-partisan grassroots movement dedicated to reinstating the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. We seek accountability from our elected leaders, legislation repealing federal tyranny, and the cultivation of a truly informed electorate. Based in Texas, our goal is a nationwide renaissance of the values and principles of our Founders that made this country great. Our motto is “Restoring the Republic – One State at a Time.”
If you are seeking more specific policy-based information I suggest reading the "Contract with Citizens" available through the link in the above piece.

While I am budgeting contributions to be forthcoming, I am way beyond the point to where a letter of concern would fit the bill. I, and many others like myself, are calling for letters of demand. The ‘concern’ aspect simply doesn’t work any longer. All we are seeing is more in-fighting among our ‘elected?’ officials. We are fast approaching a “Net Debt/GDP Equality Ratio”.
This is BAD. Very, very BAD. The Internet was just illegally taken over by the FCC. Of course we know that the intent of this regulation will be adhered to for about 30 seconds before they do some really nasty things to it in regards to liberty and freedom. The militarization of our domestic police forces continues unabated on new levels. More and more unpopulated prisons compounds are being built and occupied by military forces. These resemble civilian detention centers more than criminal rehabilitation centers. The new congress is about to attack health care reform. Their actions will be voided through presidential veto. This was assured by the idiots taking the thing to court to begin with, which did nothing more than to legitimize the atrocity in the first place. Our military forces are being gutted and spread out across the globe, while our borders remain open and unprotected. North Korea and Iran are threatening to nuke us. The UN is frothing at the bit, yammering about the United States causing global instability.
All the while, we have UN troops on our soil with pre-positioned equipment. The remaining troops we have here on the home front are being trained to assist in quelling domestic instability. The United States Army is conducting training ops with the Russian army to deal with urban terrorists. Who are these ‘terrorists’? The videos promoting these operations showed training sets that resembled good ol’ American homes. Not Middle Eastern villages. Perhaps it has something to do with American Patriots being labeled as Domestic Terrorists a while back? Oh no…they wouldn’t do that, not here…
Ummm…yes, they would. They already did. Remember New Orleans. We had our very own Army troops kicking in doors and taking weapons from citizens at gun point. Oh, and let’s not forget the fact that we also had welcomed foreign troops to join in. That’s right, folks. We invited Mexican military units to assist in the tyrannical fun and games. With Army commanders publicly stating that they would shoot and kill American civilians. This is all a matter of public record. Not speculation or assumption. Just simple fact. The point to all this being, we are not even close to being out of the hot water yet.
In fact, we are just now being dropped in it. Wait until the runaway hyper inflation hits. It has already started. Food and energy costs are about to hit new highs. It’s all over the news. Our debt rolled over 14 TRILLION DOLLARS yesterday and steadily climbing. Imagine what will happen when our system becomes saturated with insolvent cash and we can no longer spend the present 60 cents of every single tax dollar on welfare and entitlement programs like we are doing. When California goes belly up. The 8th largest economy on the planet. Imagine this scenario.
The welfare checks and food stamps are gone…no more ‘free stuff’. No more. What happens? Protests. Followed by mass rioting and looting. Out of control looting and rises in criminal activity. Murder and rape rates rise to new highs. A fundamental breakdown of infrastructure. Oh dear, what’s going on? We have a situation known as Without Rule Of Law. What to do? What to do?
Oh, hey, I got a great idea on how to re-establish order. Someone meekly stands up at the planning table and suggests the following…
“Uh, sir/ma’am, why don’t use the multi-national military forces that we spent those tens of billions of dollars training to deal with this very sort of situation.Oh, yeah, and we can hand out those really cute little baby-blue helmets and arm bands and stuff. You know, with that totally awesome globe thingy on the front of them. I think they have a couple of letters on them, too. something like U.N. or something like that? I mean, hey, we spent all those hard earned tax-dollars training these people.Might as well use them, right”?
Yeah,I see a warm and fuzzy end to all this. If we keep on following this path, I have some suggested reading. Go check out some books written by those Jews back in the 40′s that managed to survive the Nazi Death Camps. Perhaps some interesting works that came out of the Bosnia experience would be in order as well.
